Donna Jean Landreneau Obituary

Donna Jean Landreneau of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away on June 1, 2026. She was born September 10, 1950 to Don and Betty LaRue. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.


 


She had a place in her heart for animals. She never turned away a hungry creature, whether it was a cat, dog, squirrel, racoon, or any other visitor that found its way to her door. She especially loved cats and took great joy in caring for them. Donna also cherished the unique culture, music, food, and spirit of New Orleans that her husband, Cajun, introduced her to. It’s a place that always held a special place in her heart.


 


She will be remembered for her warm embrace and her fun sense of humor.


 


Proceeded to death by her father, Don LaRue, mother, Betty LaRue, Brothers, Terry LaRue and Johnny LaRue, and her sister, JoAnn Polland.


 


She is survived by her husband John (Cajun) Landreneau, daughters, Angel Roe and husband Kelly, Shawna Cooper and husband Scott, Davi Haiman, sister Taylor Stevenson and husband Jim, and many grandkids, and great grandkids.


 


Service will be held on Friday, June 5, At 10 a.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home.
