Carla Joyce Homes was born on February 12, 1945, to James Carl Holloway and Kathryn Lucille Hawn in Spring City, Tennessee. She met and married her husband, and they lived in Sapulpa until his death in 2007.

Carla was a devoted Christian, a loving sister and sister-in-law, and an amazing neighbor to have. She will be extremely missed.

Carla Joyce Holmes devoted her life to faith, family and compassion. She was a loving and loyal friend whose presence brought peace and comfort to many lives. Her legacy of love and grace will continue through the family and friends who were blessed to know her.

Carla was proceeded in death by both her mother and father; her husband, and her younger sister. She is survived by her brother James Daniel Holloway and his wife Donna Holloway.
