Donald "Don" Sharp passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a lifetime of treasured memories.

Don was a dedicated iron worker for most of his life and took immense pride in his craft. He was one of the hardest workers you could find. His work wasn't just a job—it was a commitment, and many of the men on his crews became part of his family. He earned the respect of those around him through his devotion, loyalty, and unwavering work ethic.

Outside of work, Don enjoyed fishing, golfing, cheering on OU football, and spending time with the people he loved most. Some of his family's favorite memories are of him turning the music up as loud as it would go and filling the living room with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his countless one-liners and taglines that could make anyone smile. He started his mornings quiet and focused, but by night he was loud, playful, and full of life—always making jokes, telling stories, and keeping everyone laughing.

Above all else, Don loved his family. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, a daughter, a son, a stepson, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, many nieces and nephews and their children, several in-laws whom he loved deeply, and countless friends he treated like family.

His legacy is one of hard work, laughter, and true grit. He loved with all he had and was the pillar of strength and security for his loved ones. Don was a man you could count on without fail. He stayed true to who he was, kept his word, and showed those around him what loyalty, perseverance, and unconditional love looked like. His life left an undeniable impact on those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
