Death is truly our enemy, for it robs us of our loved ones. Thankfully, our Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to bring death to nothing. (1 Corinthians 15:26; Psalm 83:18) Even more, those that have fallen asleep in death have the prospect of being resurrected to the earth when sickness is no more. (John 5:28, 29; Psalm 37:29; Isaiah 33:24) Think of how happy your dear Melissa will be then! This is a hope we can put full trust in for Jehovah "cannot lie." (Titus 1:2) As you await its fulfillment, take advantage of Jehovah God's invitation to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) Take care and please accept my sincerest condolences. (www.jw.org)

The last time I saw Melissa she was a little girl. She grew into such a fine and strong woman, wife and mother. Reading her blogs made me understand the true depth of her soul. What a truly courageous and strong soul, but I am not telling you a thing you all haven't witnessed first hand...I am positive that she lifted every one she encountered with her strength to carry on, and I am guessing that very few people have ever had the amount of prayers sent up and cheers for every milestone achieved that she has. What a true warrior!!! Love and blessings to her family, my sorrow is so very deep for you all.A love so strong for her family and for her life will certainly live on through each of you. She will always be right there in your heart...you have an amazing Angel to light your path. My deepest sympathies.

I never got the chance to know Melissa, but I send my condolences to her family. Another one gone to soon. Sad to know her kiddos have lost their Momma so young. Her family are in my prayers through this very difficult time and I hope with the Lords help they can make it thru this hard time and become a much stronger family knowing that each day is a blessing and that you never know when your last day will be with your loved ones. I know her hubby will be holding tight to their kiddos in these hard times. Prayers and God bless you all.

Melissa, I don't have words to express my deepest sympathy and pain of losing you. You were a joy to our family, the apple of your parents eye, a wonderful teacher, wife, and mother. I know from reading the many posts to your Facebook page that you were a huge inspiration to many others also battling cancer, and a wonderful friend to hundreds of people. You have entered your heavenly home and you have seen the face of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. You fully understand the things that we can't yet comprehend while on earth - this earthly body and earthly life are nothing compared to eternity in Heaven. As you watch over Brandon, Avery, Bray, Case, Ron, and Sara please know that you will be forever loved and missed. I know you are at peace knowing that God has a plan for them and His comfort, guidance, provision, and joy are theirs. They only need to ask. Finally, Melissa, please know that you are loved and will always remain in our hearts. Enjoy your new life, I plan to see you again!

First we would like to say we are sorry for the loss. Melissa was a wonderful and courageous woman. She taught my son when he was in the 4th grade and she was the best teacher ever. When she taught she didn't only teach them she took each one of her students and made sure that all of them understood it. She was a wonderful blessing to this world and will be an even better blessing to heaven and God. We keep you and your family in prayer.
Love,
The Kimballs

I wish to express my sadness of Melissa's passing. I am one of her many Facebook followers. Although I never new you all personally I felt as though I did. She was a brave warrior against this terrible disease. My husband is actually a survivor of breast cancer. He endured a double mastectomy and many rounds if chemo and radiation. He just recently had his chemo port removed after three years of being cancer free. I wished that this would also have been Melissa's case but as it turns out God had other plans for her. But as time passes always remember that someday you will all be together again. Carrie Underwood's song "See You Again" says it all.

God Bless you all!

There are no words adequate to help with your pain, except those in our Lord's promise that he was preparing a place for us. May the Holy Spirit be your comforter now and in the future.
