Obituary of Carol Jo Whiteman

Carol J. Whiteman (56) of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was born December 4, 1960, to parents Dean and Mary Jo Thornburg. Carol married Herbert Whiteman at the age of 17 in Fort Worth, Texas. They moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1986. Carol was a homemaker most of her life, spending her days taking care of her family. She absolutely loved being near her children and grandchildren. Her eyes and her smile lit up the room when she was with them. Carol loved to dance. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Whiteman, children: John Paul Whiteman, Eric Whiteman, Andrew and Pricilla Whiteman, Racheal and Craig Yi, along with grandchildren, Shelby Whiteman, Adrian Whiteman, Alexis Whiteman, Jaydince Yi and Craig Yi, Jr., her mother, Mary Jo Thornburg, brother, Edward D. Thornburg, and sister, Barbara Young. She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Thornburg, grandmother and grandfather, Mary Francis Smith and Joseph O. Smith.
