Obituary of Harold Ray Vaughn

Harold Ray Vaughn was born in Andrews, Texas on June 6, 1959 to parents Raymond Vaughn and Darlene (Wallace) Vaughn.  He left this life at Saint Francis Hospital and entered into his eternal life in Heaven May 1, 2019 at the age of 59.

Harold went to Sapulpa High School and during his teen years his guardian angel worked overtime.  He lived in many places in his life including Robstown, TX, Freer, TX, returning to Oklahoma in 1987 and moving to Kellyville in 1988.  His most recent residence was with his wife Tishia and step-son. He worked in the oilfield during his younger years and later became a heat and air technician.  Harold owned his own business, Better Aire Mechanial, LLC (formerly Vaughn & Sons Heating and Air)  and received many Better Business Bureau awards.  No matter the work, Harold was a hard worker and good provider for his family.

During Harold’s first marriage he was blessed with his daughter Sheila.  He married Tishia Ellington January 15, 2013 and welcomed step-sons Dylan and Dakota into his family.  He was a Christian man and he loved God.  He had good old-fashioned values.  Harold was stubborn but a happy man with a wonderful sense of humor.  He loved camping with his family, travel, old western movies, restoring old cars and spending time with family and friends.  He also loved riding motorcycles and belonged to the Four Kings riding club.

Harold was preceded in death by his father Raymond Vaughn; brother Jerold Wayne; and sister Regina Mae.  He is survived by his wife Tishia Vaughn; mother Darlene Vaughn; daughter Sheila Barnes and husband Cliff; step-sons Dylan and Dakota Davis; grandchildren Calvin Casteel, Chase Casteel and Cody Barnes; nephews Richard Fullbright, Rickey Fullbright and Daniel Chavera; niece Linda Sinor; as well as many friends and extended family.  He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He will be greatly missed but the family takes comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and is having a wonderful reunion with his dad, brother, sister and many more family and friends.
