Obituary of Lisa Michelle Karrit

Please share a memory of Lisa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lisa, our daughter, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.

She was born on April 14th, 1966 in Tulsa, Oklahoma,  the middle of three children to Leon Ellis & Sharon Ellis Lee.

Lisa attended school in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was employed for over 10 years with Hillcrest Hospital & Ensemble Health Partners as a Medical Coder.  She was loved by many co-workers and friends there.

She was a devoted daughter and sister and had great love and affection for her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was the aunt that gave little surprises and trinkets to them all.

Lisa had no children of her own but her heart belonged to her beloved pet dog Rilee who was her companion and love of her life.

She had a talent like her Daddy for “McGyver-esque ingenuity” and “Out of the box” thinking for solving problems that needed a quick fix. Her Daddy and Brother were her biggest fans.

She was a “Girly Girl” and like most of her family she loved “The Glitz and The Bling”.  She also loved designer bags,  jewelry and make up.

She enjoyed making her own jewelry and sharing it with her mama, grandma, sister, sister -n law and nieces.  We all loved receiving her jewelry and make up as gifts.

Lisa was preceded in death by her daddy, Leon Ellis.  Lisa was survived by her mother Sharon Ellis Lee, sister Rhonda Ramey and husband Michael Ramey and brother Steve Ellis and wife Edna Ellis.

Nieces & Nephews  ~  Brooke & Brandon Mayhugh, Hali & Philip McCoy, Charity Mayfield, Gabrielle Silva, Danielle Ellis, Travis Ellis, Wyatt Ellis, Brad & Katarina Ramey, Chad Ramey, Chance Stambaugh, Xavier Stambaugh, and Johnathan Stambaugh.
