Martha Ruth Sellers Napier

Born: August 15, 1945                                          Deceased: December 1, 2023

Martha was preceded in death by her father Wyatt Sellers, mother Etta Sellers, brothers John Sellers, Clyde Sellers, Gordon Sellers, and husband Loyd Napier.  She is survived by brother Gary Sellers and wife Alice. Daughters Lori Soderstrom & husband Jim, Keli Emerson, and husband Johnny. Grand-children Gaytha Soderstrom-Bailey and husband Lucas, Kounty Soderstrom, Wyatt Emerson, Braden Emerson and wife Meagan, Stephanie Roy, and husband Cody. Great grand-children, Blanche & Beau Bailey, Tyson, Luke & Hallie Emerson.  Numerous nieces, nephews, brothers’ in-laws, and sisters’ in-laws. Martha’s work ethic was above and beyond, she could and would out work the best of men.  She always had a smile and would talk with everyone about anything. Martha was a competitive bowler and when not able to bowl any-longer she joined a wii bowling league and was just as fierce and showed no mercy.  She was stubborn and determined – qualities that helped her regain her independence after suffering an aneurysm that nearly ended her life more than a decade ago.  Her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren inherited that stubborn streak and we are all thankful for it!  We lean into that inherited resilience as we grieve the loss of our mom and “mimi.”
