Obituary of Terry Ray Brown

Terry Ray Brown, known to many of his friends as “TB” passed away on December 28th, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was born on June 8^th1942 to Fred Orvell Brown and Ray Myers Robinson Brown, in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Throughout his life, Terry held various roles, including the manager of one of the largest bowling alleys in the Tulsa area during his high school years, and as a Chief Freight Line rate manager, and he loved to drive big rigs. His final profession was a financial planning manager and insurance salesman with Modern Woodmen of America. He was a devoted Christian who attended Woodcrest Free will Baptist Church in Catoosa, OK. 

Aside from his career, Terry had a passion for fishing. He was also a trained pilot. His interest also included collecting Eagles and knives.

Terry is survived by his sister Sandy Rozell of Siloam Springs Arkansas as well as his children Todd Brown, Kathy Strayer, Joe Morgan, and Lisa Lee all of the Tulsa Oklahoma area. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn Sue Brown as well as his children Tammy Twomey, Bill Felts and Michelle Felts all of Oklahoma.

Terry left behind numerous grand and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Terry at the Woodcrest Freewill Baptist Church located at 19250 E Pine St. Catoosa, Oklahoma on Saturday January 13th, 2024, at 11:00 AM the service will be officiated by Pastor Roger Ballard.

Terry will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and Roper Classmates. His warm personality, love for people and passion for fishing will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched.
