Obituary of Ronald Shane Palmer

Shane Palmer, 54, passed away on January 10, 2024 in Owasso, Oklahoma.

 

Shane was born on September 20, 1969 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Ronnie Palmer and Rolene Herring. He is the oldest of four children and is survived by his siblings Jerramy Palmer and wife Mandi, Stacy Davis and husband Stewart, and Chris Arkon.

 

Shane is survived by his wife, April Palmer, of the home and daughters: Allissa Palmer and partner Ronson White of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sydnee Applegate and husband Kaleb Applegate of Owasso, Oklahoma and Morgan Olson of Grove, Oklahoma.

Shane leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Holland White as well as a grandson, Hudson Applegate, expected this March. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Stanton Shaw as well as his father and mother-in-law Steve and Lisa Shaw and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Shane loved to watch any sport but preferred a Stratford Elk, University of Oklahoma, or Dallas Cowboy football game. He never missed an opportunity to cheer on his kids in every activity they pursued and was known to have a host of adopted kids that he loved, supported, and who called him dad. He was an incredible husband and father and also a true friend who will be missed deeply by all who love him.

 

Services will be held at the First Assembly of God in Stratford, TX on January 27th at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Kidney Foundation or the Assembly of God Youth Group in Stratford, TX.
