On Friday, March 22, 2024, Rebecca Brooks, also known as Becky, passed away on a much-anticipated vacation in Tampa, Florida.  Born on February 20, 1970, in McKinney, Tx to Emily Janice Ned and Billy F Brooks, she was 54 at the time of her passing.  Becky was a single parent who dearly loved her only child, Cody (age 29).   In addition, she was not only an aunt but supportive guardian to her nephews Jacob, Trey, and Dalton Brooks, loving and caring for them daily.

She worked in the nursing home environment primarily as a Certified Med Aide and later in Medical Records.  Much of her career was spent at Northside Nursing Home in Sapulpa where she was considered part of the family.  Becky made lifelong friends with her former co-workers and employers.  She had a passion for her job, the residents, and the people she worked with.

Becky was a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to so many people.   She was a caring person who supported and constantly checked in on her family and friends.   She loved playing bingo, watching true crime tv programs, bowling, playing card games, traveling, and visiting her mom whom she had a close relationship with.

She was preceded in death by her father Billy Frank Brooks, nephew Dacota Lee Brooks, grandparents Emert and Lois Brooks and Thomas and Lucille Ned.

She is survived by her son Cody Brooks and significant other Meggin Stepp of Sapulpa, her mother Emily Ned of Utica Ok, sisters Angela and Karen Brooks both of Sapulpa, brother Terry Brooks of Utica, brother Billy Brooks Jr and Lisa Dilley, both of Utica, and brother Eric Brooks and wife Mona of Tulsa.  Her nephews, Matthew Brooks of Hanover, Maryland; Morgan and Dylan Brooks both of Broken Arrow; Coy and Evan Brooks both of Prattville; Kyle, Jacob, Trey, and Dalton Brooks all of Sapulpa.  Her niece Kailee Brooks and Blake Decker plus great nephew Link all of Sapulpa.  Step Nieces Summer Davis, Macala Epley, Sherry Epley, and step-nephew Dakota Davis, plus many great-step nephews and nieces.   Honorary friend of the family, Carrie Kreps of Kellyville.
