Marvin Lee Wright of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 1, 1926 in Davenport, Oklahoma to Arthur and Rachel Wright. Marvin served his country during World War II in the Italian Theatre and the Korean Conflict. He retired as a Sergeant Major in the United States Army with 28 years of service. He also retired from Liberty Glass Plant of Sapulpa with 44 years of faithful service. Marvin was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was surrounded by family and friends when he left this world to be with our Lord. He is survived by his wife, Willene Wright of the home, his three children; Deborah Wright of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stephen and Janet Wright of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Regina Wright and Vicki Barbridge of fountain Hills, Arizona; granddaughter, Christina and Tim Crutchfield of Mounds, Oklahoma and great granddaughters Breeana and Bailey Crutchfield of Mounds, Oklahoma. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rachel Wright and two brothers, Melvin Wright and Alvin Wright.
