Obituary of TOMMY COCHRAN

Tommy Leroy Cochran was born on September 17, 1940 to Roy and Kathryn Cochran in Kellyville, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on June 1, 2011, He is survived by his two daughters: Lori LaRae Zumwalt and Jodi Lynn Boyles and her husband, Lonnie E. Boyles all of Sapulpa; one sister: Joann Holloway and her husband, Max of Tulsa; four grandchildren: Miranda Marie Wilson, Teri Dawn Zumwalt, Lonnie Boyles, Jr., and Tommy Dale Boyles all of Sapulpa; step-children: Kathleen Fleming, Shawn Fleming, Debi and Mitch James; and close and very dear friends, Patricia Rickner and daughter, Jennifer Rickner. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Kay Fleming, both parents and one grandson, Micah James Zumwalt. Tommy grew up in the Sapulpa area. Started working in the grocery business in Bristow for 8 years, then turned to welding until 1973 when he started Cochran's Paint Bucket, which he continued until his death. Tommy was an active member of the Prayer Warriors Motorcycle Association and also very active in his two churches, Word of Life Ministries of Drumright and Shamrock Baptist Church of Shamrock. Tommy never met a stranger and loved to tell jokes and talk. He also loved hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle
