JAMES RITCHIE Obituary
James Edward Ritchie, "Eddy" to most, was 68 on his birthday. He was born one year later and the minute on the first anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, December 7th 1942. James went home to our Lord's mansion this last Sunday morning on the 12th of June, 2011, sometime before dawn.
He served in the Army 1st Calvary, in both Korea and Vietnam, the Salvation Army as a pastor and servant along the side of his wife Wilma, until her passing, and as a Chaplin for the Sapulpa American Legion.
He will be joining his mother Mary Elizabeth Ritchie, father, Earnest Orvil Ritchie; brothers, George Wesley Ritchie, Earnest Leroy Ritchie, Harold Lloyd Ritchie, Elbert "Tiny" Klint Ritchie, sisters; Etta Jane Ritchie, Margaret Dildine; and wives Bobby Ritchie and Wilma Ritchie. The surviving siblings are Gracy Fern Haney, Ester Coleen Wilson, Patricia "Patty" Fay Snow and Delbert Klint Ritchie. As for the rest of the very extensive family tree, just pick up a phone book or throw a rock in any direction! You will hit one of us!
