Obituary of MARIE SPARKS

Marie Evelyn Sparks passed away June 15th 2011, at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 88. Marie was born September 11th 1922, to Charles Edward and Anne Pearl Higgins. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy W. Sparks and her daughter Patricia A. Satterfield. She is survived by her brother Homer Higgins of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her sister Wanda Conner of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, her son Roy W. (Bill) Sparks of Las Vegas, Nevada, her grandchildren, Danny, Bambi, Misty, and Bill Jr. In addition, 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a large amount of extended family and friends. Marie retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield after a long career at both the Oklahoma City and Tulsa office. She truly enjoyed time with family and friends, and she will be greatly missed by all. The Memorial Service will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home, in Sapulpa, Ok. on Thursday June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Oklahoma City, Ok.
