Obituary of MILLIE MEARS

Millie Lou Mears, age 77, a resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away early Monday, June 20, 2011 at her home. She was born December 24, 1933 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Charles Elkins and Amy Lou Dixon. She is preceded in death by her parents and the father of her three children. Survivors include her three sons: Allan and Rosa Mears of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Ronnie and Sheila Mears of Wake Village, Texas and Joel and Jill Mears of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Through many years of labor in retail sales, Millie gained innumerable loyal customers and hundreds of new friends. One could say, "She never met a stranger." In Lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to assist with funeral expenses; which can be made to any Bank of Oklahoma under "Millie Mears Contributions".
