Obituary of PATRICIA MILLER

Patricia Faith Miller was born March 18, 1938 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed into the loving arms of her Lord on June 24, 2011, at the age of 73. She was born into the family of John and Bradus Hill. She had 5 brothers; Norman, Neil, Jack, Tom Edd, and Ben and 5 sisters; Jonnie, Lois, Bonnie, Mary, and Joann. Pat's passion and reason for living was her husband of almost 53 years, Danny Miller, whom she married on June 24, 1958. She thought of her numerous nieces and nephews as her own children. She was never too busy to remember birthdays, holidays, and phone calls. Pat worked at Liberty Class Company in the packing department for many years. However her favorite job was working at Tasty Pastry Bakery, the home of all those delicious pastries, rum cakes, and doughnuts. Pat and Danny liked to travel. Their journeys took them to several states seeing many of America's beautiful National Parks and scenic wonders. She also loved books and read constantly. Pat was devoted to the Lord and his music, gospel music. Her collection of gospel videos, records, tapes, and CD's number in the hundreds. One of Pat's greatest joys was taking care of her cats. You can't even begin to imagine how many stray cats she's helped feed. We each have our own special memories of Pat Miller. Most of all we remember the character with which she lived her life and the way she treated others. We'll remember the hugs and kisses, family gatherings, and encouraging words forever.
