Obituary of LINA BAUMER
In Loving memory of
Lina Levinia (Brewer) Baumer
Lina was born on June 7, 1943 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Glen Oliver and Mary Louise (Cook) Brewer. She peacefully went to sleep and passed from this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on September 21, 2011. She attended Lone Star and Mounds Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Glen and Mary, two infant sons; Paul and Anthony, one sister; Martina, and one brother; Glen Ray. Lina is survived by her loving husband of 50 years; Joseph Baumer, two sons; Richard Baumer and his wife, Dana of Sapulpa and Darren Baumer and his fiancé, Brandy and her two sons, Kyle and Dustin all of Little Rock, Arkansas, and one daughter; Tracy Thomas and husband, Phil of Kellyville. She also has four sisters; Noka, Glenda, Marlene and Darlene. She has four grandchildren, Amanda Thomas, Toby Horn, Cody Thomas, and Tori Baumer. Also surviving her are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family, whom she adored. Lina Loved her children and grandchildren deeply and always wanted the best for them. When she would have a Thanksgiving dinner, you felt like you were at a feast fit for a king. It was always a large beautiful table full of food! She loved to cook dinner and have Christmas for her children, especially the little ones; she loved it when their eyes lit up looking at her beautiful Christmas tree. She hated it when she was too tired to do these things, but it was always in her heart. She often spoke of the memories of Christmas which was her favorite holiday. She was a lover of beautiful porcelain dolls and frilly dresses. She was definitely a "girly-girl." She used to sit and write poems and has passed that on to her granddaughter, Tori. She will be missed by so many, but we have peace and comfort from our Heavenly Father that she is no longer hurting, but instead rejoicing and dancing on the streets of gold with her babies and the rest of her family that have been waiting on her to arrive! We love you and can't wait to see you again!
