Obituary of KENNETH WILSON

Kenneth Lee Wilson, 57, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He was born July 28, 1957 in Sonora, CA to Willie and Ida Jane Wilson. Ken was employed as the Maintenance Supervisor at Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa. His work ethic was like no other. He always went to work, never missing a day. He had many friends at his work place and he will be missed. After high school Kenneth joined the United States Navy, making a career of it. He served our country proudly for 23 years, retiring in 1997 and returning to Kellyville. Ken is survived by his wife Judy of Kellyville; daughter Tracy Johnson and her husband Jeremiah, their sons Ethan, Trenton and Noah of Kellyville; son Jeremy of Sand Springs; son Travis and Dee of Langley; step-children Robin Pickering and husband Delery, their children Kalyn, Mandy, Katie and Dylan of Kellyville; Brett Jones and wife Anisa, their sons Forrest, Carson, Logan and Corbyn of Sapulpa; Tammy Womble and husband Sam, their children Isaac and Rebekkah of Kellyville; one great grandchild, Mia; aunts Sammie Sadler of Kellyville and Alma Wright of Stroud; sister Cathy Deverrick and husband Butch; sister Karen Hudson all of Kellyville. Ken was preceded in death by his parents Willie Wilson and Ida Harman; brother Kevin Wilson; grandparents Ott and Hallie Jones and Samuel and Nancy Estelle Wilson. Ken enjoyed Nascar, Baseball, OSU Football and was known for his hard work and work ethic. He loved and was loved by family and friends and he will be greatly missed. Visitation and viewing will be held from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends from 5-8 pm.
