Hubert David Nance, 90, of Kellyville, Oklahoma entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. He was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma on January 8, 1924 to Charles David Nance and Ava (Whitten) Nance.
Hubert was an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Westside Free Will Baptist Church. Hubert worked for many years as a Structural Steel Supervisor at Flint Steel Corporation and then retired as a supervisor at Webco. Hubert loved the outdoors and he was an avid birddog trainer and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy (Osborn) Nance; his two brothers, Loy E. Nance and James Donald Nance; and one sister, Geneva Bell, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hubert is survived by his wife, Alene (Lynch) Nance of the home; daughter Gail Brown and grandsons Kevin Brown and Gary Brown; plus many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 10:30 am Friday, October 19, 2014 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger McDougal of Westside Free Will Baptist Church officiating. The family entrusted the services to the Funeral Directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312/www.greenhillok.com
