Obituary of GARY E. THOMAS

Gary Eugene Thomas was born on October 20, 1954 in Sapulpa OK, to Jesse Thomas and Viola Marie Barnes Thomas on October 20, 1954. He was the eldest of six children. His mother and father preceded him in death. He received his elementary education from Booker T. Washington and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1972. Shortly after graduation, he worked for City of Sapulpa to later begin his career at Dryvit Systems until his health failed him causing him to retire after 25 years. He met and married his school sweetheart Loretta K. Lyles on June 6, 1979. During the afternoon of November 7, 2014, God dispatched his angels to bring his beautiful child home. Gary leaves to cherish his memories his wife of thirty-five years Loretta; daughter Gloria(Berwyn) ,Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Avery, Devin, Brayden, and Camarie; step-father Joe Woodberry; Three brothers, Jesse, Donald, and Floyd; two sisters, Tina and Wanda, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss him. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Green Hill Funeral Home on Friday, November 14th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm.
