Please accept our heart felt sorrow for your loss. After reading the posts about Ms. Honeycutt we regret that we never had the pleasure of meeting her. Looking at the photos we can see where Jackie got some of her good looks. Know that your family will be in our thought and prayers.

One of the deepest memories I have of my mother goes way back to when I was only 7 yrs old. It is just one of the many examples of what a cheerful giving spirit my mother had. It was our first Christmas season since her own young mother's passing in May 1964. Snow was on the ground, we lived only 2 blocks from downtown Tulsa in a ground floor converted store-front/apartment, sitting right at the sidewalk with huge plate glass windows in the front. Mom had our tattered but cheerfully dressed artificial Christmas on display in the front. There was a less fortunate family that lived only a half a block from us, a single mother with 5 children. Every day they had to walk past our place and the children were just mesmerized by the sight of our colorfully lit up little tree. It was upon one of those occasions just a few days before Christmas that whilst three of the children were standing outside our window gazing wistfully at the Christmas vision, my mother had intuitively recognized by their faces and actions they had no tree of their own. She ran over and unplugged the lights grabbed up the little three foot tree with all it's tinsel and glory and stepped outside and handed it to the children. They were awestruck with delight and could be seen and heard running on the snowy sidewalk all the way to their home with ornaments jingling and tinkling, their voices ringing with excitement the whole way. My mother had a blissful smile on her face. The same one she always had when she had the opportunity to give from her heart...something she did on a consistent basis throughout her life. Not having all that much ourselves and finding ourselves "tree-less" my dad took us with him to the country side and cut a live cedar tree...we purchased a small box of bulbs and happily set it up in our home, a few days later we celebrated our own Christmas, we children opening gifts donated by the Salvation Army. I love you mom...and your cheerful giving heart will live in my memory for always and I will strive to practice the same quality as best I can. Donna

I can remember back when me and my brother(Chris) were little and almost every weekend going to stay with granny and grandpa. My granny would always take us to the bus stop to ride the city bus to go shopping. Often times we would just ride and ride just to see how far it would take us. Granny knew how much me and Chris loved riding the bus. She would always sit across from us and just smile. If we missed the bus granny would always turn to us and say "Do you think we got enough energy to make it to Kmart" and of course our answer was always "yeah, yeah lets go" and me and Chris would take off skipping and laughing down the trail. My granny, Our granny was always so kind and caring for others and often never thought of herself. I'll never forget her last few words. My granny made it a point, against her wishes to make sure each and every one of us were at peace with her leaving. The pain is still so surreal, and the tears continue to fall. Her time here was not long enough, but it was long enough to last forever. I love you granny and your love and your smile will never be forgotten.
I Love You Always & Forever,
Your Grandbaby, Amanda

Granny you were the most amazing, caring, and inspirational woman I have ever met. I will truly miss all of our shopping trips(especially Christmas shopping & school clothes shopping). You will forever hold a place in my heart. My heart hurts for your time here was not long enough, but I can promise you it was long enough that we will never forget you. I love you and miss you so much & I will see you again soon! Love Always, Your Grandbaby Amanda
