Obituary of Gayle Gwen-Riley Nester

Gayle Riley Nester was born July 19, 1963 in Fremont, California to Lester Van Huis and Ellen Houck. She passed from this life on January 2, 2015 at the age of 51. Gayle worked for many years as an over the road truck driver. She had a heart for dogs and raised teacup Yorkies for a few years. She was active in her church, enjoyed making jewelry and loved to cook. Gayle was preceded in death by her father Lester Van Huis; mother Ellen Bacon; maternal and paternal grandparents; and brother-in-law Terry Parrish. She is survived by her husband Warren Nester; children Heather Sipes and husband Amos of Moore, OK; Rebecca Poole and husband Derrick of Ada, OK; and Jolene Estala of Ada, OK; father and mother-in-law Warren and Anna Mae Nester of PN; siblings Terry Lynn Gaumer and husband Pete of Iowa; Lori Lewis of Okmulgee, OK; Randy Van Huis and wife Phyllis of MO; Robin Van Huis and wife Lori of CA; Terrance Van Huis of Sapulpa, OK; and Scott Van Huis and wife Sherry of Mounds, OK; 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Gayle was loved by family and friends. She will be dearly missed. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
