Obituary of Robert Gaston Huffaker

Robert “Bob” Huffaker was born November 12, 1937 to parents Forrest and Anna Huffaker. He passed from this life on January 11, 2015. Bob worked as a state maintenance worker. He could operate anything that had tracks or tires. Bob was married to wife, Carolyn, until her death October 19, 2009. He Loved horses, western books and movies. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting activities, playing catch in the yard, baseball and football on Sundays. When his children where younger, Bob would often take his children squirrel and rabbit hunting. He had a tough exterior but was soft on the inside. Bob always loved his Sunday dinner get-togethers with his family. He also enjoyed pestering and joking around with his adopted granddaughter “Tiss,” which will miss him greatly. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Huffaker; and his parents Forrest and Anna Huffaker. He is survived by children Cindy Higgins; Bobby Huffaker; Kim Gilbreth; Daniel Huffaker; and Julia Turner; one brother, two sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob was loved very much by his family. He will be deeply missed.
