Obituary of Aaron Soloman Scott, Sr.
April 22, 1928 in Boynton, Oklahoma, a beautiful baby boy was born to James and Lula Rue Scott. They named him Aaron Solomon Scott. Aaron attended school in Taft, Oklahoma. Upon graduation Aaron joined the United States Army. He served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1951. In July of 2013, Aaron was awarded an Ambassador for Peace Medal by the Korean Veterans Association.
Aaron was an active member of the Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church. He also attended Mt. Olive South Haven. Aaron was an active neighbor in the South Haven Community. He was loved by all who knew him. His favorite saying was "Hello My Friend!"
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lula Scott; eight brothers, Leonard; Archie Lee; Kenneth; Harlow; Marlo; Homer; Curtis; and Jim; two sisters, Almetta; and Willie Mae; and one son, Aaron Jr.
Aaron leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Vann; Wendell; and Steve; one daughter, Bernice; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
