Obituary of Mildred Mae Fletcher

Mildred Mae Fletcher was born December 12, 1924 and passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her granddaughters and great-granddaughters on January 29, 2015. Mildred attended and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1942 and then married Gordon Lee Fletcher in May 1942. They were married 63 years, until he passed in 2005. They were both members of Forrest Hills Baptist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Gordon; daughters Sue Langston & Saundra Carlock; son Ronald Fletcher; and grandson Jimmy Carlock. She is survived by granddaughters Robyn Wilson, Julie Torgeson and Teri & Rick Jewell. Great-grandchildren Jeremy Carlock, Shawn Philpott, Mason Haley, Nicci Langstonm, Katie Langston, Taylor Pemberton, Hunter Jewell, Rylee Jewell, Ricky Jewell, Brittany Jewell, Brandace Jewell & Raven Jewell. Great-great-grandchildren Gavyn Brunner, Kayden Jewell & Isabella Jewell. Mildred Enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the lake and fishing with their friends, having cookouts and serving her famous “Nanny Burgers.” She lived a long fulfilling life and left many with cherished memories. Services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, February 2, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
