Obituary of STEVEN SCOTT

Please share a memory of STEVEN to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Steven Wayne Scott was born May 27, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Alvis and Angus Scott. He passed away at the age of 55 surrounded by family on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Steve attended Webster high School and was a welder for over 16 years. After attending American Truck Driving School he went to work for Smithway where he became a driver trainer, he later worked for other trucking companies. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Pankey on September 22, 2001. Steve was a big part of the Sapulpa Community. When things needed to be done at Philadelphia SDA Church, he would be the one to take care of them; from fixing doors, changing fuse boxes and driving the church van to feed the homeless. Like clockwork, on Sunday, you would always find him at Northside Nursing Home ministering and offing Bible studies to the residences. He also made a point of visiting the sick and shut-ins. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne of the home and daughter Ebonie Pankey of Norman, Oklahoma. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
