Obituary of Archie R Daniels

Archie Ray Daniels, 83 born April 25, 1931 in Broken Arrow, OK to Archie and Helen Daniels. He served in the Korean War from 1949 to 1952 and is a retired member of the Pipewelders Local Union #205. He also taught at Tulsa Welding School as an instructor and was an ordained minister for more than 50 years. Archie is survived by his wife of 62 1/2 wonderful years Julia Carolina Hall Daniels; daughters Susanne Daniels Schellhorn of Tulsa, OK; and Dolly Daniels Auxter and husband John Auxter of Claremore, OK; two grandchildren John H Lowe Jr; and Jennifer Ni'Cole Lowe; and three great grandchildren Kaydence Ni'Cole Lowe; Karsen Ray Lowe; and Jaedn Lynn Cook. He is also survived by one brother, Reverend Marion Daniels and wife Bonita of Bixby, OK; two sisters, Melvaline Rogers of Sand Springs, OK; and Cozetta Trolinger and husband Bobby of Tulsa, OK; as well as many nieces and nephews. Archie was preceded in death by his parents; son Archie Ray Daniels Jr; brothers Eugene Daniels; Vernon Daniels; and Raymond Daniels; sisters Rosella Marshall; Jeanetta Swartz; and Maryann Easter. Archie and Julia were fortunate to be able to have 62 1/2 years together. They were married July 19, 1952. In 1958 the family moved to Mounds, OK. Archie pastored the United Pentecostal Church for more than 12 years. Archie had many friends. He never met a stranger and he led many people to the Lord. The world will never know a greater man he is loved and will be missed by all. Services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Calvary Lighthouse Church in Bixby, OK. The family will be at Green Hill Funeral Home to meet with friends on Thursday from 6 - 8 pm.
