Obituary of Patty Sue Davis

Patty Sue (Warren) Davis was born March 10, 1933 to Denny O. Warren and Lillian (Shouse) Warren at her Grandmother’s home in Sapulpa, OK. She left this life for her heavenly home March 28, 2015. Patty went to schools in Oklahoma, Texas, California and Washington. She met Dexter Davis, the two were married and lived in the Blue Bell Community for the rest of her life. This union was blessed with 3 children; Denna Sue “Dee”, Dan and LeeAnn. Patty Davis was a committed Christian, loving the Lord in all of her days! Her family was her greatest joy and she was totally devoted to them! She had a deep, forever love for her sweetheart of 65 years, Dexter Davis. Patty was given many gifts by her Lord and she used her talents to write poems and for songwriting for His glory, lifting up her friends and family. She was a gifted seamstress, a talented artist, and she loved dolls, both making them and collecting them. She loved arranging and displaying them in her doll shop. Patty was also a hairstylist and had her own business named Blue Bell Style and Smile. Besides these gifts and many more, God gave her a beautiful voice. We feel sure she is using it to reach the highest soprano notes in His choir this very day! Patty was preceded in death by her parents Denny and Lillian Warren; her parents by marriage, Reverend Jim and Nettie Davis; her beloved Aunt BoBo Evoda Sampson; and 2 sisters, Jean Reisor; and Denna Lu Jones. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Dexter Davis; sister by marriage Elizabeth Frazier; daughter Dee Wilemon and husband Jim; son Dan Davis; daughter LeeAnn Kreps and husband Raymond; grandchildren Scott Gantz; Bethany Blair and husband Paul; David Littlebear and wife Beth; Jesse Davis; Courtney Hurd; Tim Kreps and wife Robin; Amy Smith and husband Greg; Rachel Wise and husband Clayton; numerous great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was very loved by her family and will be deeply missed. Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Blue Bell Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday with the family greeting friends from 6-8 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312/www.greenhillok.com
