Grandpa,
I'm going to miss you so much. It's hard to imagine going the rest of my life without you. I'm going to miss your stories, and your silliness. You were a great, loving, fun and wise grandpa. I'll always remember going to the spring in your old orange truck to "jug up" water. Watching you out in your garden, or listening to you talk to your chickens or play your fiddle or harmonica.
It's going to be weird not buying that pouch of Redman tobacco and that box of chocolate covered cherries for you at Christmas anymore. Throughout my entire life, I don't think I saw you get mad or upset even once. Just always calm and peaceful. (Nothing like the stories I've always heard of your rowdy youth lol)
I know you'll always watch over me and Ashley, Austin, Izzy, all my cousins, my dad and all my aunts as well as the rest of our family. I will always strive to be a man that you would and can be proud of.
I love you grandpa.
Love always,
~Matt

Also if I could have I would have taken you to visit IDAHO. I don't know what you wanted to see there and I will wonder about that the rest of my life . So I guess I will have to go visit for you. I will keep planting my gardens the way you want me to and always think of you. Every time my plum trees bloom I will take time to enjoy their beauty, cause it is so short. You know I will Always Always eat Raw Peanuts , Hersheys Chocolate Bars, and Brachs Chocolate Stars in memory of you. Don't worry about Mom we will take care of her . She misses you dearly. I will miss calling you for advice. When you meet your grand baby in heaven you didn't know you had give him a kiss and a hug and tell him mommy will see him soon. For now its not good bye . I love you and I will see you soon.
Love Dinky
Sarah

Uncle Lenny it is with fond memories that I say goodbye to you. You were always my favorite Uncle. I had so much fun staying with you and all your children in the summer time. You took us "beer cannin" and then we'd go use the money to buy lots of fireworks, and then eat watermelon. I'll never forget how you made us laugh like the time Brenda and I were making guacamole and you said, "give me some of that YUCKAMOLEE"! Hahahaaa. And you always called my mama - your sister, "Jurllann" so all your kids call her "Aunt Jurllann" that always made me snicker too. You were a great Dad and a great Uncle to me. May you rest in peace with the Lord, you served your family and your country well!
Love and Peace,
your niece,
Vicki
