Obituary of Ruthann Krajicek

Ruthann Krajicek, 72, of Sapulpa, died Friday, May 1st, 2015 in Tulsa, after a long battle with lung disease. Ruthann was born on June 20, 1942 in Delaware, Oklahoma to parents Ben and Vivian Little. She was one of four children, who also included sisters Dorothy Hoppock and Helen Adams, and brother Ramon Little. In Dec. 1966 she married Edward Krajicek in Kiefer, Okla. She graduated from Delaware High School in 1960 and received a nursing degree in 1979. She worked in several different careers in her life, including real estate, welding, and finally nursing where she continued until her retirement. She worked at both St. Francis in Tulsa, and at Bartlett Hospital/St. John Sapulpa. She also served for a time on the Sapulpa Parks and Recreation Board, and worked in the George W. Bush election campaign. Ruthann enjoyed many things in life, including fishing, bingo, and was an avid reader. She mostly loved spending time with family. Her favorite days were those when her family would get together at her house to break bread, play games, share stories and share her wit, which was her most endearing quality. She is survived by her husband Ed of the home, and children David Jones and wife Cara of Kiefer, Ok., Alan Jones and wife Theresa of Sapulpa, Rick Jones and wife Lory of Sapulpa, Ron Krajicek of Sapulpa, as well as two step-children, Terry Krajicek and wife Bessie of Sapulpa, and Sherry Bristow and husband Alford of Shawnee, OK. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, as well as her sister Helen Adams of Chelsea, Ok, and several nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Vivian Little of Bartlesville, sister Dorothy Hoppock of Copan and brother Ramon Little of Wann, as well as one granddaughter, Brandi Jones of Sapulpa. A memorial service will be held at Green Hill Memorial 400 E. Teel Rd. in Sapulpa on Thursday May 7, 2015 at 2:00. Lots of her favorite music will be played, and several members of the family will share some stories about this wonderful woman. The memorial will be a celebration of Ruthann’s life.
