Obituary of William Loyd Putman

William Loyd Putman was born January 5, 1925 in Kiefer, Oklahoma to parents William Edgar Putman and Bessie Fratwell Putman. William went to meet his Lord in Heaven on May 9, 2015. William married Jeannine Ione Sisk on March 20, 1953. They were married for 57 years and had 3 children; Suzanne, John and Leatha. He worked as an Inspector at Douglas and Rockwell Boeing Aircraft. William enjoyed hunting, shooting and fishing. He helped build the Apollo rocket that put the first man on the moon. William was preceded in death by his wife Jeannine Putman; parents William and Bessie Putman; Helen Degraffenreid; Eula Colvin; Floy Bright; Ruth Holland; Billy Earl Putman; and Ralph Frankenfurter. He is survived by his childen Suzanne Putman; John Putman; and Leatha Perez; grandchildren Trey Capehart; Joshua Putman; and Michael Putman; great-grandchildren Michael Putman; Seth Putman; and Sierra Fox. William was greatly loved by his family and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Mounds Assembly of God Church in Mounds, OK. Visitation is Monday from 3-9 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. .
