Obituary of Richard R Eberle

Richard “Dickie” Eberle was born on April 9, 1946 and went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2015. Dickie is survived by two daughters, Michelle Eberle; and Kara Eberle, both of Sapulpa; son Wade Eberle of Tulsa; two precious grandchildren, Mariah and Levi Eberle; his brothers Gary Eberle; and Larry Eberle; 3 sisters Donna Wheeler; Edna Phillips; and Joyce Wheeler; many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, not to mention a multitude of friends and church family. Dickie was preceded in death by his mother June Eberle; his father Edward Eberlie; and he lost his wife Lois “Dolly” Eberle on September 18, 2008 after 36 years of marriage. Dickie served in the U.S. Army and fought for our country during the Vietnam War. He gave his life to Christ on May 28, 1995. He was a member of South Heights Baptist Church. Dickie was a very strong man. He always thought ahead and had a plan. We don’t know how long he battled cancer but do know his journey is now completed. He’s on the streets of gold. Some of Dickie’s routines were noted by his morning scripture followed by taking his granddaughter Mariah to school. He would then go to one of his favorites, R & T, where he was known as “last cup.” He cherished his time with his girls and park time with Levi. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at South Heights Baptist Church in Sapulpa with Pastor Todd W. White officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Casket Bearers are Gary Eberle, Larry Eberle, Gary Eberle, Jr., Curtis Wheeler, Jr., Robert Gobble and Cory Jackson. Honorary bearers will be Jack Thompson, Jim DeGraffenreid, Edward Parker, Jason Thompson, Tracy DeGraffenreid, Cody DeGraffenreid and Jeremy Hensen.
