Obituary of Frances Mae Rose
Frances Mae Rose passed away on May 21, 2015 at the age of 91. She was born on July 18, 1923 in Odell, Arkansas to Bert and Linnie Cole. Frances loved being a homemaker and creating a loving, supportive home for her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Early on, you could find her working in the outdoors while her husband Floyd was away at work. She had a full plate taking care of her children and sometimes watching her grandchildren. Frances was a wonderful cook, but as her arthritis and other illnesses progressed, Floyd took over the cooking and housework. When Floyd got sick she tried her best to help care for him, but she could not. It broke her heart that she could not take care of her own husband when he was ill and needed her the most. Frances loved her family more than anything and will be missed by many.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Floyd; her parents; four sisters, Geneva , Agnes, Melba, and Mary; three brothers, Lawrence, Troy and Ed; two sons, Jerry and Daryl and his wife, Wilma; and daughter, Connie. She is survived by son, Lloyd Rose of the home; daughter Brenda Hanchett and her husband Bob, of Owasso; son, Rick Rose of Las Vegas; daughter in law, Brenda Dobbs of Farmington, Arkansas; brothers, LeRoy Cole, Othel Cole and his wife, Jerri, of Stilwell, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, twenty great- grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
