Obituary of Doyal Ray Richie

Doyal Ray Richie was born on April 16, 1943 to John Richie and California Lane. He passed this life on May 27, 2015 after a long and difficult battle with cancer. Doyal is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra; his children Jeffrey, Marcella, and Sheila; grandchildren Jacob, Matthew, and Amber; and sister, Ona Brown, several half siblings, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Donald, Harrison, and Scotty. Doyal worked for the City of Sapulpa for many years, and later worked as a line inspector for Dewberry Corporation until his retirement. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time outdoors. When he was indoors he could usually be found on his computer or watching a good western movie. He will be greatly missed but we are grateful to God that he is no longer suffering and we look forward to seeing him again one day. There are no services scheduled.
