Obituary of James Isaac Wall

James Isaac “Ike” Wall, Sr., 83, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away June 9, 2015 at home surrounded by loved ones. Ike was born April 24, 1932, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Frank E. & Jewel (Davies) Wall. He was the youngest of 4 siblings. He graduated from Webster High School in 1950. After serving in the U.S. Air Force he married June Todd on May 18th, 1956 in Tulsa. He retired in 1997 after a career in the concrete industry. Ike was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his two dogs. He was known for his cheerful whistle and his love for garage sales. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank A. Wall & sister Cerise Cowley. He is survived by his wife June of the home, his children Douglas Wall of Henderson, NV, James I. (Jim) Wall, Jr. & wife Christi, Joy Ryker & husband Larry, Cindy Merrell & husband Ralph, all of Sapulpa. Sister Molly McAda of Kenedy, TX. His 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, June 11, 2015. Funeral service will be 10 AM Friday, June 12, 2015, both held at Green Hill Chapel. In lieu flowers a donation may be made to Hospice of Green Country or Baptist Children’s Home of Oklahoma.
