Obituary of Nena L Reynolds

Nena L. (DeWeese) Reynolds gained her angel wings June 16, 2015 at the age of 93. Nena was born in Fallis, Oklahoma April 7, 1922 to James and Abba DeWeese. Before retiring, Nena worked as a custodian for Tulsa Public Schools. Her family remembers her making beautiful hand sewn quilts. She enjoyed animals, especially kittens and puppies. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Nena was preceded in death by her husband Harold Reynolds; her parents James and Abba DeWeese; sister Jesse Ann Henegar and brother-in-law Wilson; and nephew Gary DeWeese. She is survived by her son Harold W. Reynolds and his wife Shirley of Sand Springs, OK; grandsons Chris Reynolds and his wife Claire; Steve Reynolds and his fiancé Sara all of Indiana; brother Frantz DeWeese of Tulsa, OK; 3 nieces, Mary Louise Kiker and husband Bruce of Dallas, TX; Elaine Hacker and husband Moe of Columbia, MO; Lawanda Hubanks and husband Dave of Tulsa; and 7 great-grandchildren in Indiana. Nena’s family loved her very much and will miss her deeply. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
