Obituary of KEITH D. OGBURN

Heaven surely heard before they saw, Keith Dewayne Ogburn running into the gates of Heaven. Keith passed peacefully from this life surrounded by those he loved the very most on July 13th, 2015. Keith was born in Sapulpa, OK on July 9th, 1961. He beat many odds to battle an ongoing illness and is no doubt healed completely now. Keith was a strong man of faith who loved God and Jesus with all his heart. He had a huge sense of humor that he was known for. He never met a stranger. He taught children’s church for many years and led many young souls to Christ along with his wife. Keith married his wife, Donna Allen Ogburn, who he called “Snook”, on August 5th 1990. Keith had 2 daughters whom he loved very much, Satira Faye Herberger and Keisha Ann Tyler. He also loved his stepson, Wade Reeves and stepdaughter, Carrie Reeves. Keith’s life became complete when he was blessed with 8 grandchildren! His grandsons, Issac Dewayne Ogburn, David Austin Fitzgerald, Garrett Joshua Fitzgerald, Luke Allen Tyler, Ryan Wade Reeves, Ayla Esther Reeves, Tripp Anthony Herberger, and Trigg Taylor Herberger. However, many believe that none compared to his fur-baby Benji Dewayne Ogburn! He loved Sooner Football (counted down the days every single season!), Dallas Football, and Fishing. He loved spending time with his family and praising God. But, most of all, he adored his grandbabies and his Fur-baby Benji! Keith will be missed by so many people. Some of those that can’t wait to see him again in Heaven are his wife Donna Ogburn, daughter’s Satira Herberger and her husband Daniel, Keisha Tyler and her husband Gary, stepson Wade Reeves and his wife Alisha, step daughter Carrie Reeves and her family Mick Whitney and Carson, his grandchildren Issac, Austin, Garrett, Luke, Ryan, Ayla, Tripp, and Trigg, as well as his brothers Terry Ogburn and his wife Donna, Hal Ogburn and his wife Marcene, Teddy Ogburn and his wife Donna, James “Bo” Ogburn and his wife Sherry, his sister Lana Holmes and her husband Randy, mother in law Pat Allen, and brother in law Eddie Allen and his wife Angie. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Horace Padgett “Pat” Ogburn, his mother Elizabeth Ann Taylor, and his brother Horace “Lester” Ogburn. And as Keith would say BOOMER SOONER, Love your GUTS, and I’ll see you in Heaven! Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 17, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled Thursday 7/16 from 12-9 pm. The family will be at the funeral home to greet friends from 6-8 pm.
