Obituary of Fredina L. Pickering

Fredina L. Pickering, 71, of Sapulpa, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Wood Manor Nursing Facility in Claremore with family by her side. Fredina was born in Beggs on September 29, 1943 and attended Sapulpa High School. She retired from Ford Glass after 30+ years of service where she was known to all of her friends and co-workers as Freddy. She was the daughter of Billy and Margie Casteel. She had the biggest heart and always did what she could for those around her. Her family,friends and dog became the most important elements in her life. Fredina was preceded in death by her father Billy Casteel. She is survived by her mother, Margie Casteel of Sapulpa; son, Tony Gann and wife Amy of Claremore; daughter, Misty Parker of Sapulpa; granddaughter, Madison McReynolds of Sapulpa and grandson, Mason McReynolds of Sapulpa, who were the apple of her eye. She also leaves behind her loving dog Rocky, a brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and many more family and friends. Services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, October 2, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 3-8 pm.
