Obituary of Virginia Mae Peck

On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, Virginia Mae Berryhill Peck, born in Indian Territory prior to Oklahoma statehood, and a member of the Creek Nation, joined her Christian brothers and sisters with Jesus in Heaven. A kind and loving Christian woman Virginia, with her husband Reverend F.W. “Bill” Peck, who preceded her in death, for over sixty years ministered to congregations in Texas, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. Her quick wit, radiant smile, and love for all will be remembered by family and friends. Virginia is survived by her two sons, Philip William and Carl Andrew, her daughters-in-law, Dolores and Trinh, her five grandchildren, David, Michelle, Daniel, Kathryn, and Benjamin, and five great grandsons, Braedy, Ryan, Cole, Cameron, and Greyson, and one great granddaughter on the way. A memorial service will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 22, 2015.
