Obituary of Haskell Ray Pack

Haskell W. Pack, 86, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at Green Tree Memory Care in Sand Springs, Oklahoma with his family by his side. He was born April 8, 1929 in Okemah, OK to Washington S. and Mary Pack. Haskell served in (AOM) Germany in the Armed Forces of the United States from January 30, 1951, transferring to the Army Reserve January 7, 1953. He married Helen P. Burns May 29, 1953 in Benton, AR. The couple was blessed with two children, Kenny R. Pack and Pamela S. Pack. He worked as a painter at Douglas in Tulsa for 10 years and retired from Rockwell International October 1, 1993 after 30 years. In his spare time he loved to rodeo; calf roping and barrel racing. He trained barrel horses and was happy to help others train their horses as well. Haskell is survived by son Kenny Pack and wife Georgia of Bristow, OK; daughter Pamela Pack of Sapulpa, OK; grandson Ashton Pack of Sapulpa; granddaughter Kendra Chuculate and husband Philip of Bristow; grandson Kenny Pack, II and wife Katie of Wichita, KS; three great-grandchildren, Skyler and Hunter Chuculate, McKade Pack and one more on the way as well as Jessica and Ryan Thulin. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Pack; parents Washington S. and Mary Pack; grandson Brandon Cole; and 9 brothers and sisters. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Rose Rock Hospice and especially Green Tree Memory Care for their exceptional care of Haskell. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church in Slick with Reverend Marty Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home Wednesday from 10 am until 8 pm with the family in attendance from 5-7 pm to greet friends.
