Obituary of DANNY MCARTHUR

Daniel "Danny" Franklin McArthur 1946 - 2011 Daniel "Danny" Franklin McArthur of Sapulpa, Oklahoma died Friday, November 11, 2011 at the age of 65. Danny was born October 1, 1946 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He was the son of G.W. and Lora Louise Cooper McArthur. He died Friday after a battle with cancer. Danny attended Bristow Public Schools and two years of Buisness School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He joined the US Army in 1967 and served until 1970. He married Michelle Beaumont of Colorado in 1970 and returned to Oklahoma where he lived in Tulsa and worked for the Burlington Northern Railway for over thirty years. To this marriage he had two daughters. He was to later marry Peggy Brooks Nuttall in 1982 and became stepfather to two young boys. At this time he moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma where he lived the rest of his life. Danny retired from Burlington Northern Railway after 36 years. He loved to golf and fish. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, G.W. & Lora Louise McArthur and his daughter, Anna McArthur. He is survived by his wife, Peggy of the home, one daughter, Danyell Vaughn and her husband, Steve of Inola, Oklahoma; stepson, Michael Nuttall of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; stepson, Brian Nuttall and his wife, Ann of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Gary Wayne McArthur and his wife, Pat of Great Bend, Kansas and Dana Cooper and his wife, Cathy of Mounds, Oklahoma; two sisters, Susan Morton and her husband Ted of Bristow, Oklahoma and Debbie Smith of Bristow, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
