Obituary of Reece Charles Merchant

Reece Merchant was born on September 3, 1995 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, hunting and working on his Silverado Truck. He was a certified welder and received 4 certifications at OSUIT. He was continuing his education and completed his freshman year at OSU for a degree in Environmental Science. He was a member of the Liberty Mounds Fire Department. He is survived by his parents Dewayne and Brenda Merchant; sister Briana; great-grandfather Eugenio Arellano; grandparents Charles and Elnora Merchant; and Marlys Callon. Also surviving are aunt Janice Fisher and Jim; Aunt Denora Morgan and her husband Mike with their children Courtney and Clint and his wife Taylor; aunt Belinda Yocham and her husband Shannon with their children Audra and Tony; cousins Dale and Lindsay Merchant. He was preceded in death by aunt Carol Brown; and uncle Roger Merchant. He will be Greatly missed by all. The family would like to thank Liberty Fire Department and Green Hill Funeral Home for all their service to the family and kindness. They have brought great comfort to the family during this tragedy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 27, 2015 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Beggs, OK.
