Obituary of Juanita Mae Duke

Juanita Mae Duke was born in Flint, Oklahoma on May 8, 1935 to parents Joseph and Ollie (Smith) Duke. She passed through Heaven’s gates on November 25, 2015 at the age of 80. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Dee and Ollie Muriel Duke; sister Louise Hood; and brother J.D. Duke. She is survived by sister Opal Bilby of Kellyville, OK; sister Barbara Lane of Jenks, Oklahoma; and sister Pat Perry of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Juanita worked for BFI for about 20 years as a bookkeeper before retiring. She loved her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She enjoyed spending time with them and her family. She liked to read and to crochet and enjoyed giving homemade gifts like crocheted doilies and bedspreads. She liked to watch OU and OSU play football and loved the OKC Thunder. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday at Green Hill from 1-8 pm.
