Obituary of Dennis K Wilson

Dennis K. Wilson went to be with the Lord November 26, 2015, at the age of 70. Dennis was born May 26, 1945 in Oklahoma City, OK to parents Rhuel Haywood Wilson and Thelma Pauline (McDaniels) Wilson. Dennis was the oldest of 5 children. Dennis served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Carol Any Young on January 19, 1968. Their union was blessed with two children, Dennis and Tammi. He chose a career as a welder. Dennis lived in Sapulpa, on Line Street, most of his life. He loved watching action movies, reading, playing cards and collecting coins. He liked to share stories about the struggles he went through in his youth. He suffered from Agent Orange exposure and as he grew older had many problems, including difficulty his short term memory. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Rhuel and Thelma Wilson; and his son, Dennis Dewayne Wilson. He is survived by his daughter, Tammi Sue Wilson; siblings Michael Wilson, Glen Wilson, Kathy Redden; and John Wilson; grandchildren, Richard Gordon Hulsey, Jr., Chelsea Mikeyla Wilson, Jesseca Whitnie Estelle Hulsey; Ashle Infinitie Dawn Hulsey; and one great-grandchild, Dennis Kimbrel Wilson. Family and friends are invited to share a meal after the service at 1035 E. Line St. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home.
