Obituary of Dennis Walter Horstman
Dennis Walter Horstman, 66, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away at home on November 28, 2015. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 11, 1949 to Robert Charles Horstman and Jewell Merle Young.
Dennis was a private individual. He loved animals and cared for his dogs immensely. He liked to read, specifically Louis L’amour books. He was a welder by trade. In 1985 Dennis started his career “being the best welder in the world,” welding for Bundy Bumper and working with a long lasting friend, Don Bundy. Dennis continued to work in the same industry, building aftermarket automotive accessories through Mid America Automotive Products and eventually ended his career working with Troy Bundy at Iron Cross Automotive. Dennis has been a very close personal friend of the Bundy family for more than 30 years.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Robert Charles Horstman and Jewell Merle Young; and grandchild Jess Horstman of Elmore City, Oklahoma. He is survived by his older brother Darrell Horstman of Heavner, Oklahoma; his son Denny Horstman; grandchildren Hollis Horstman and Dillon Horstman of Elmore City, Oklahoma; and lifelong friends Tim and Sherri Jones.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312/www.greenhillok.com
