Obituary of Nancy Jo Harry

On December 25, 2015, Nancy Jo Harry went to be with her Creator. Nancy was born in Slick, OK on March 30, 1933 to Wesley and Louanna Barnette. She attended Lone Star Elementary School and graduated from Eufaula Boarding School. Nancy Jo worked for LaMode Cleaners and Liberty Public Schools Cafeteria. Nancy Jo was very active in the Duck Creek Community & Ceremonial Ground. She enjoyed the game of softball as well as watching her family play the sport. Nancy Jo and Simon Harry were married in 1949. They were married for 66 years and had 6 children; 3 daughters, Sue Walker of Hectorville, Bonnie Antelope of Hectorville, and Charlotte Tiger of Hectorville; 3 sons, Cecil Harry of Shawnee, Robbie Harry of Sapulpa, and Randy Harry of Henryetta. They have 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 adopted daughters, adopted grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy Jo touched many lives. She could always be depended upon to help anyone with any situation they were facing. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 grandson. She leaves behind a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers you may send donations for services to Green Hill Funeral Home. A wake service has been scheduled from 7-10 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Morning Star in Hectorville, the funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, December 30th at Morning Star with interment to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa.
