Obituary of Norma Million

Norma Barham Million was born in O’Kean, Arkansas on September 23, 1922 to parents John and Ruth Barham and left this life for her Heavenly home January 8, 2016. Norma attended Randolph County Schools. The school only went to the 9th grade so she went twice and was a straight A student. She later attended Arkansas State University Nursing School and graduated on February 6, 1959. She married Dale Million on March 10, 1939 and their union was blessed with 5 children. She enjoyed music, dancing and cooking for her family. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Million; parents John and Ruth Barham; two brothers and one sister. She leaves behind to cherish her memory son James Leon Million; son George Allen Million; son Gary Bruce Million; son Joel Don Million; daughter Melinda Sue Johnson, all of Tulsa, OK; brother Grover Barham of Severna Park, MD; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 7 great, great-grandchildren. When asked if she was “worth a million” because her last name was Million she would respond, “I am worth 19 million – 5 kids and 14 grandkids. They are my savings.” Funeral Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
