Obituary of Nita M Knight

Nita M. Knight was born in Stuart, OK on January 13, 1918 to parents Benjamin and Pearl (Estes) McClure. She was one of 7 children. She passed through Heaven’s Gates to her new home on January 14, 2016. Nita enjoyed music and loved to dance. She enjoyed all types of dancing from Ballroom to Square Dancing. She was a wonderful seamstress and sewed her children’s clothes when they were growing up. She was very talented and could make her own patterns. She decorated beautiful cakes, even making many wedding cakes. Her quick wit, radiant smile and love for all will be remembered by her family and her friends. Nita was preceded in death by son Ronald Selsor; parents Benjamin and Pearl McClure; and 5 brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory son Jacob Knight, Jr. of Tulsa, OK; daughters Karen Wakefield of Tulsa, OK; Pamela Smith of Tulsa, OK; Debra Salmon and husband David of Sapulpa, OK; and sister Norma Perryman of Visalia, CA as well as 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 12 great, great-grandchildren.
