Obituary of Debra Ann Robertson
Debra Ann “Debbie” (Banks) Robertson Passed from this Life on Thursday, January 14, 2016. She was born March 14, 1955 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to John Delton and Vella Dee (Stice) Banks. She wasn’t very big but like her mom, she could take care of herself.
Debbie graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1973 and Married John Clark and they had two daughters; Kim Moran (Wes) of Drumright and Leslie Minney (Charlie) of Sapulpa. She married Mark Allen Robertson in 1996. She loved watching him ride bulls and drive race cars. Debbie finally fulfilled a lifelong dream and bought a couple of horses to ride in the play days. She loved her horses and her dogs. Her favorite past time was watching her son-in-law, Charlie and grandkids play softball and basketball.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband Bill McNutt and her brother, Terry Dwayne.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; her daughters, Kim Moran, Leslie Minney, and Nicole Robertson; her brother, Jerry Wayne Banks of Sapulpa; mother-in-law, Jacquetta White (John) of Tulsa; sisters-in-law, Karla Smith of Porter and Leisa Wroblewski (Randy) of Muskogee and brothers-in-law, Rodney Robertson (Patricia) of Okmulgee and Jeff Robertson of Inola. Debbie is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Wade and Blake Deatherage of Enid, Kylie June Moran of Drumright, Maddie, Darren, Julia, and Samantha Minney of Sapulpa, Cheyenne and Amie Montgomery and Ashlynn and Makenzie Newby all of Eufala. Surviving nieces and nephews are Johnny Banks and sons McKinley and Eli of Bristow; Dee Brock Banks (Kendra) and Daughter Kaydee of Bristow; Kathy Hoskins (Lance) and children Halley, Harley, Hank, Haze and Hatcher of Sapulpa.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-8pm and Monday from 9am-8pm. Service will be 10:30 Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Community Freewill Baptist Church in Kiefer. Pastor Randy Green will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers will be Charlie Minney, Darren Minney, Wes Moran, Orbie Boyce, Fred Fuss, and Aaron Austin. Honorary bearers include Wade Deatherage, Blake Deatherage, Leonard Rivett, Raymond Minney, Tom Barton, and Greg Lelei.
